天津濱海新區危險品倉庫發生爆炸事故，中國交通運輸部部長楊傳堂昨（十三）日召開緊急會議，成立交通運輸部應急處置工作領導小組，並帶隊趕赴現場指導救援。

據指出，楊傳堂已要求天津市交委做好事故處置，控制事態發展，並統籌處理人命救援、環境保護及港區生產作業等，並查明事故原因，以遏止重特大事故發生，同時要求中國交通運輸部公安局指導天津港公安局做好消防和應急處置、自身安全防護工作，以防止災害再度發生。

目前，天津海事局已密切注意事態變化，監控船舶動態，加強船載危險貨物監管，確保船舶航行安全。據陸媒指出，除天津港北港港區船舶停止進出港及裝卸作業外，其他港區已恢復正常生產作業。

該爆炸事故地點，係天津濱海新區第五大街與躍進路交叉口一處貨櫃碼頭，發生爆炸的是貨櫃內易燃易爆物品。據開發區應急辦指出，爆炸的是天津港瑞海危險品物流倉庫。天津港七號門禁止車輛通行，躍進路全線實施交通管制，嚴禁車輛通行。進出天津港車輛須繞行天津港五號門、八號門。海濱大道永定新河站北向南方向封閉，臨港站南向北封閉，車輛需繞行京門大道。
